About Tom Werner: Tom Werner has been involved in entertainment and media his entire career, now spanning
five decades. He has been inducted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame,
having produced more than 1500 half hours of quality television. These include THE COSBY
SHOW, THAT 7Os SHOW, THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN, and ROSEANNE. Werner is also the chairman of the Fenway Sports Group, which owns the Boston Red Sox, the Liverpool Football Club in the Premier League, and the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL.
